This Messaging Policy describes how North & Nova Co. (“North & Nova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses text messages (SMS/MMS), email, and similar electronic communications when interacting with you and when providing SmartSite services to our clients.

This Policy works together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Types of Messages We Send

By providing your mobile number or email address to North & Nova Co., you may receive messages related to:

  • Account setup, onboarding, and support
  • Demo confirmations and reminders
  • Service updates and project status
  • Billing and subscription notices
  • Occasional product, feature, or training announcements

If you are a customer of one of our SmartSite clients, you may also receive messages sent through their North & Nova–powered system, such as:

  • Missed-call text-backs and follow-up messages
  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, or reschedule links
  • Service updates or visit notifications
  • Review, feedback, or satisfaction requests

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency will vary based on your relationship with us and your activity, such as:

  • How often you book appointments or request support
  • Which services you are using
  • How often you engage with our SmartSite or automation tools

We aim to keep communications useful and reasonable. You can opt out at any time as described below.

3. Consent and Opt-In

By submitting a form on our website, booking a demo, requesting a SmartSite, or otherwise providing your contact information, you are giving North & Nova Co. permission to contact you using the methods you provide, including SMS and email, for the purposes described above.

For SmartSite clients, it is the responsibility of each business using our tools to obtain proper consent from their own customers before sending SMS or email messages through our platform.

You should not provide a phone number or email address that does not belong to you or that you are not authorized to use.

4. Opt-Out and HELP Instructions

You can stop receiving SMS messages from North & Nova Co. at any time by:

To receive help regarding our SMS program, you can reply HELP to any message, or email us at [email protected].

For messages sent by one of our SmartSite clients (for example, a local service business), you can typically opt out by replying STOP to their message as well. If you continue receiving unwanted messages, please contact the business directly, or notify us and we will investigate.

5. Carrier & Message Fees

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are based on your mobile carrier plan and are your responsibility. North & Nova Co. does not charge separate text-messaging fees to recipients.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Data Use and Privacy

We use your contact information to send communications consistent with this Policy, our Privacy Policy, and applicable law. This may include:

  • Logging message content and delivery status for troubleshooting and record-keeping
  • Storing your preferences (such as opt-out status)
  • Analyzing engagement for service performance and improvement

We do not sell your phone number or personal information. We may share limited data with trusted service providers (such as SMS carriers, email providers, and CRM platforms) solely to deliver messages and operate our services.

7. Appropriate Use of Messaging

North & Nova Co. prohibits the use of our messaging tools for spam, harassment, illegal content, or any activity that violates carrier rules or applicable laws, including but not limited to:

  • Sending unsolicited marketing messages without consent
  • Sending fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive messages
  • Sending content that is abusive, hateful, or otherwise harmful
  • Using lists purchased from third parties without explicit opt-in

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to messaging features for any account that violates this Policy.

8. Changes to This Messaging Policy

We may update this Messaging Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
